Marc-Andre, the Resident Representative of the United Nations to Sri Lanka, assured that the United Nations will continue to provide technical and financial support for Sri Lanka’s development.
He made these remarks during a discussion with the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, at the Ministry of Health.
The Resident Representative of the United Nations, Marc-André Franche emphasized that the long-standing partnership between the United Nations, the government, and the people of Sri Lanka will be further strengthened in the future.
He emphasized that the upcoming period will be challenging for the current government due to the large public mandate at the recent election that resulted in high public expectations.
