Nine Killed as Bridge Collapses in Gujarat,India

At least nine people were killed and several others injured after a section of the Gambhira Bridge on the Mahisagar River collapsed early this morning, July 9, in Padra, Gujarat, India. The bridge connects the key cities of Vadodara and Anand.

Multiple vehicles, including a truck and several cars, plunged into the river as the bridge gave way. Rescue teams rushed to the scene and managed to save six people, and the operation is currently underway.
