Sri Lanka is once again preparing to host Voyage Sri Lanka 2025, the nation’s flagship international marine summit. This landmark event is scheduled for October 16th, 2025, at The Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo.
The event is organized by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (SLEDB). Its primary mission is to bring together global experts, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders to shape the future of Sri Lanka’s blue economy.
The summit aims to unveil the Blue Economy Potential of Sri Lanka by aligning government policymakers, industry leaders, global investors, academia, and innovators under one common goal.
More than just a conference, Voyage Sri Lanka 2025 is designed as a dynamic platform for strategic dialogue, investment opportunities, and international collaboration. It seeks to catalyze innovation and connect key stakeholders across the global marine industry to unlock the full potential of Sri Lanka’s blue economy.
The summit will maintain a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and strategic growth, aiming to foster collaboration and open new avenues for development within the marine domain.
Key sectors highlighted as critical drivers of export growth and technological advancement within the marine domain include ship repair, shipbuilding and boatbuilding, offshore services and energy, and marine tourism (nautical tourism). Specifically, boatbuilding is recognized as a rising industry that is driving both exports and technological advancement.
Voyage Sri Lanka 2025 aims to draw over 300 attendees from more than 12 participating nations, with a sharper focus on transforming Sri Lanka’s blue economy potential into tangible outcomes.
