Finland Pledges Support to Digitize Sri Lanka’s Health Sector

The Government of Finland has expressed its willingness to support the digital transformation of Sri Lanka’s healthcare system.
This assurance was conveyed during a meeting between Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, and Finland’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Kimmo Lähdevirta
The discussion focused on the current challenges faced by Sri Lanka’s health services and explored opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the health sector.
The Finnish delegation also acknowledged Sri Lanka’s people-centered governance approach and shared insights from Finland’s advanced healthcare system as part of the discussion.
