IRD reminds taxpayers of key filing deadlines

The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has reminded taxpayers to submit their Statement of Estimated Tax Payable (SET) for the Year of Assessment 2025/2026 electronically on or before August 15, 2025.
In a statement, the IRD said its e-services are now open for filing both the SET and the Return of Income for the Year of Assessment 2024/2025, the latter of which must be submitted by November 30, 2025.
The deadlines apply to Corporate Income Tax, Partnership Income Tax, and Individual Income Tax, including the IIT Simplified Return. The department warned that late payments will result in interest charges and penalties, and urged taxpayers to ensure they use the correct tax type and payment period codes when making payments.
Taxpayers have been advised to visit the IRD’s official website for updated information and guidelines on electronic submissions.
