Karu Jayasuriya denies any possible involvement in power politics

National Movement for Social Justice (NMSJ) leader, Sri Lankabhimanya Karu Jayasuriya has made it clear that he will not contribute to any political activity. He emphasized that his sole dedication is to the advancement and betterment of Sri Lankan society, and he remains committed to this cause above all else.
This statement was issued by Mr. Jayasuriya in response to a media report claiming that a group of MPs was planning to involve him in a proposal to unite UNP & SJB. He firmly denied any intention of participating in such efforts.
He further said that, while he will not take on any role as a participant or supporter of a political power struggle, he considers it his lifelong duty to make the greatest possible contribution to the society. As a citizen who deeply loves and respects the country, he is determined to remain focused on serving Sri Lankan society without engaging in power-driven politics.
